"Bruises, yeah I like bruises. they are a painful reminder of the past. You know, if you are like me, bruises mean that one step you missed trying to get to the top of the bleachers, running in full speed.. That one time you stayed in position so a girl can run over you just so you can get them to foul you. pain, I like pain. Not because I am negative, its just a reminder of how strong you are and what you can over come. feeling your body about to collapse from running too much but pushing it to go on further. feeling that burn in your arms from all the shooting and dribbling knowing that you’ve shoot 1,000 shots but knowing you can need to make 1,001. giving your all, yeah life is tough and yes, you feel pain, get bumps and bruises once in a while but it’s important to reminder that those are reminders of how far you have come, and how far you are yet to go. <3"
